Not sure what to say, do, & mainly feel about the current state of our world. One thing I do know is that it will have a huge impact on my business. I can feel it stabbing me in the heart already.
As of now, I plan to run business as normal - with the exception of my studio being closed until the end of March (for now) - for extra precautions.
All outdoor sessions will take place - if all clients aren’t feeling 100% I please ask that you tell me & we reschedule.
For my brides & grooms - reach out to me if you are concerned. I am here for you. I am opening up some dates toward the end of the year if rescheduling is a must. All rescheduling fees have been waived.
*Remember - elopements are an option!!
Our health should be a priority. But don’t forget to LIVE! Your babies are still growing up. You will miss that pregnant belly. Your love still matters. SPREAD LOVE NOT PANIC! Support local. And enjoy this downtime with your family. -
Thinking about how my 2020 wedding season kicks off next month & how grateful I am to get to tag alongside some BA people! Not to mention that cool places I get to visit - Priest Lake, Walla Walla, some amazing venues in Spokane & last but not least ... Hawaii! Is this even a job?! 😂 -

I have come to the conclusion that I am the worst texter, probably of all time. With my business tied to my phone - nonstop emails, DM’s & texts - I just don’t text for fun. In hopes to get better at communicating with friends & family, I’m going to use that one App that was cool before Insta called Snapchat lol because I can send videos and pics all day long!!

It’s a good day to have a good .. wait GREAT day! Am I right?! Everyday is good - but being a business owner, mama, wife, OCD perfectionist - it catches up to you sometimes (usually on Thursday’s haha). Woke up refreshed & recharged. With a clean house (some people do retail therapy, I do cleaning therapy lol). I’m ready to go sweat my booty off at Barre class. Then, I have my first session in the studio this afternoon. Yay yay yay!
Also, probably a crime posting this sweetie again - but if you all have been around for awhile, you know I don’t follow the rules on here ... I do what I want💥💁🏻♀️😘 -

Couples are usually really set on or against a first look. For me, the first look is the pivot point when building a wedding timeline. Indicating how much portrait time is needed when & where. Things to consider when deciding on if you should have a first look ...
1.) Maximizing time - it’s not about tradition. It’s about maximizing every last second on a chaotic day. There is always something that happens on that day that is out of your control. With a first look safely plan for 2 portrait times (day & sunset).
2.) You get to spend your wedding day together- instead of the last 5 hours. Enough said??
3.) Alone time - which is basically nonexistent with a traditional wedding schedule. Scheduled portrait times are some of the few, if not only times you two will be alone (well with me, still counts lol).
